I think it would be nice to see factions added. It could increase popularity and it would be a little more fun. Just imagine
the scale of war and battles/trade and friendship that could occur but that's just me...

we've played around with Factions before on the server we all used to be on. We some what liked it but not enough to ever use it.

Towny has a bit of that built in. You can ally or enemy a different nation, maybe towns.
